October is packed full of fantastic events taking place in and around Dornoch! Get in the festival mood and take a trip to a book, archaeology, knitting, tree or whisky festival!

Our Pick of the month is the Dornoch Whisky Festival. Friday 25th until Monday 28th October 2019. Dornoch Whisky Festival is a celebration of whisky in the North Highlands held on the last weekend of October annually. During the 4-day event there are whisky themed dinners, distillery tours, master classes, blind tastings and VIP tastings – basically something for everyone regardless of your level of knowledge of whisky!
