August is packed with activities and events including the Dornoch Highland Gathering (5th) Festival week (8th-13th) Assynt Highland Games (12th) Dornoch Community market (13th) as well as live music, pipe bands, art exhibitions, car boot sale and a walking event! And that’s on top of all of the usual delights you can expect from Dornoch and the Northern Highlands- Beaches, wildlife, great food, small, quirky shops and friendly locals!
