1. Whisky

The Dornoch is Whisky Festival is one of the highlights of the Dornoch calendar. This year it takes place from 28th until the 30th October. Tickets are on sale now so don’t miss out on some fantastic whisky related events throughout the town.

Lovers of single malts or those keen to learn about Scotland’s national drink can visit 4 famous distilleries within just a few miles of Dornoch. Clynelish, Balblair, Glenmorangie and Dalmore are all close by so there is every opportunity to raise a glass to your holiday in Scotland.

2. History and Heritage

The Highlands of Scotland are well known for their rich history and heritage. Discover all about the history of the Dornoch area- and the whole of the Northern Highlands- during your next trip.
