The ultimutt grooming experience in relaxed and calm surroundings, UG is a holistic grooming salon, focusing on force-free, consent based practices, offering your dog choice where required and striving for a fear-free environment. Positive, reward based training and handling only. The comfort, safety, and happiness of all UG’s canine clients is of utmost priority. Pet parents can have complete peace of mind that their beloved doggo is being treated to the very best care possible.

Products

All products used are cruelty free, vegan and made in the UK with naturally derived, chemical free ingredients. They are guaranteed to be free from the synthetic materials, chemicals, and unnatural ingredients found in many of today’s grooming products, which can cause skin irritations and allergies. UG is proud to offer these products and is dedicated to using the safest, purest, all-natural ingredients for your pet.

Services

Puppy University – 5 sessions in the salon to introduce your puppy to the grooming experience. Expecting a young dog to be able to cope with a complete groom without a slow introduction is setting them up for failure and a lifetime of stressful grooming sessions. Puppy University helps your pup become confident and comfortable with the process so that they can enjoy their pamper days as much as you enjoy yours. (puppies with no grooming experience must attend university before being accepted for a full groom)

Full Groom – The full works for your doggy! A thorough two-shampoo wash to get them sparkly clean, then a comb through and detangle, blow dry, ear cleanse, sani trim, nail and pad trim, followed by your choice of styling.

Bath and Blow Dry – Ideal as maintenance between full grooms, a freshen up or if your doggy has rolled in something stinky! This treatment includes a double shampoo, blow dry, full body brush, trim of eyes and sani area (if needed) and aromatherapy ear cleanse.

Ultrasound Teeth Cleaning – Cleaning with 100% Ultrasound Technology , the Emmi-pet is the no-brushing toothbrush innovation which cleans without any motion, vibration or noise. Ultrasound reaches deep below the gum line to kill germs and bacteria and cleans the teeth and gums to help prevent the build up of plaque and tartar. At the same time it increases the blood flow to the gums to heal wounds and stop bleeding. Effectively helps combat: Gingivitis and periodontitis, oral cavity diseases, plaque and tartar build up and bad breath.
