Join us on Saturday 30th November 2024 – St Andrew’s Day – for an full day of winter celebration to launch the Christmas season!
10am – 3pm – St Andrew’s Day Fair – Dornoch Community Centre (Social Club)
Over 20 tables of artwork, crafts, handmade gifts and lots more will be on sale throughout the day from some wonderful local people, shops and charities. The famous raffle will also be back, so don’t miss your chance to scoop up some fantastic prizes – all in aid of a good cause. Allsorts After School Club will be serving some delicious home baking, refreshments, and homemade soup to raise funds – and keep everyone warm and cosy on the winter’s day.
10am-2pm – Christmas Outdoor Market – Dornoch South Car Park
Visit our food & craft stalls with Christmas cake & mincemeat, local pork & lamb, candles, hand made body care products, knitwear, woodwork, decorations and gifts. Bacon Rolls, tea, coffee and hot chocolate will also be available to keep you warm!
10am – 3pm – Xmas at The HUB – Dornoch HUB
Dornoch Hub Xmas Fair will be home to 10 stalls to browse and purchase Christmas gifts & produce. There will also be refreshments and a festive atmosphere.
Santa’s Grotto at Dornoch Academy
The S6 at Dornoch Academy will be running a Santa’s Grotto where children can get a gift and picture with Santa and there will be live music there through the day. There will also be a pop-up cafe, Christmas craft stalls and a raffle with funds raised at the school split between The School , Maggie’s Highland and Highland and Mountain Recue Sutherland and Caithness.
Christmas Lighs Switch On
At 3pm the Christmas Lights will be switched on, ensuring Dornoch is picture-perfect for the festive season.
4pm – Carol Service – Dornoch Cathedral
Congregate in the iconic Cathedral for a short service of rousing carols to really get you in the Christmas spirit!
