North to Caithness

John O’Groats

John O’Groats is a small Highland coastal village with a world wide reputation. The drive north to John O’Groats is spectacular in itself and the village is just one of those places you have to see.

Head north from Dornoch and the drive will take around 2 hours.

Waterlines in Lybster

Waterlines by Lybster’s harbour is a fascinating visitor centre charting the history of Lybster itself and the Caithness fishing industry. It also has an excellent natural history exhibition and cafe.
