Bonar Bridge and Rosehall Area Walks
Balblair Forest, just one mile west of Bonar Bridge on the A836 to Lairg, is an easy forestry walk taking an hour to an hour and a quarter. The car park is well signposted on the right as you leave the village.
Raven’s Rock near Rosehall is a very popular, 45 minute walk which crosses boardwalks and negotiates steps as it explores the gorge and its fabulous waterfalls.
Rosehall Forest & Achness Falls is a wonderful circular trail that leads through ancient forest to the fabulous Achness waterfall. You’ll follow along the river bank past an historic chapel and graveyard before climbing up onto the stone road bridge and walking back to the foot of the forest to rejoin the track to the car park.
