About Dornoch Whisky Festival
The Dornoch Whisky Festival is back for its fifth year!
As a firm fixture in the autumn calendar, the Dornoch Whisky Festival offers a relaxing weekend of whisky-related activities in the beautiful Highland town of Dornoch.
This October between Friday 25th and Monday 28th we have more events than ever before, including whisky masterclasses, paired dining and industry brand events hosted by The Macallan, SMWS, Morrison & Mackay, Gordon and MacPhail, Elixir Distillers, Dunnet Bay Distillers, Clynelish Distillery and more.
We’re also delighted to be welcoming this year VIP guests from The Macallan! Polly, Russell and Steven – a trio of whisky makers of one of the worlds best-known drams! They will be hosting their own innovative and immersive VIP Masterclass whereby you get to take away your own, specially blended – by you – Macallan dram.
On top of this, they’ll also be present at our ever-popular Grand Tasting that features over 20 exhibitors from around Scotland. We’ll be joined by independent bottlers, distilleries and independent companies as well as our very own Dornoch Distillery and the Carnegie Whisky Cellars! Then after a day of sampling fine whiskies, join us for our Ceilidh in the Castle with music from BlackRock Ceilidh Band!
Or if whisky isn’t your thing, don’t worry – we also have our amazing ceilidh, open to all as well as gin tastings, historic tours, cocktails, live music, shopping and golf!
