Dornoch Festival Week 2022 takes place from Monday the 8th of August until Saturday the 13th. Take a look at the programme below and choose which of the fantastic events you will be taking part in! Visitors welcome.
Monday 8
Pet show: Bring along your furry friends, they are all welcome! The Meadows Park 10.30am, £1.50 per entry.
Sandcastle Competition: Registration at Beach Car Park 2.30pm. £2 per entry.
Family Quiz: Calling all quizzers to the Marquee Tent at The Meadows Park 7pm. £5 per team. BYOB.
Tuesday 9
Teddy Bears Picnic with Bubbles the Clown: Bring your favourite teddy (both of you can wear fancy dress!) and we will supply the picnic. Marquee Tent at The Meadows Park 11.30am-1.30pm, £2 per child.
Cricket: Open to all ages. The Meadows Park 4-6pm. Free.
Car Treasure Hunt: Registration at The Meadows Car Park 6pm. £5 per car
Wednesday 10
Kids sports/orienteering: Nursery – P7. The Meadows Park. 10.30am. Free.
Dornoch Community Market: Cathedral Green. 10am.
Children’s Football: 3- 16 years. The Meadows Park 6pm. Free.
Thursday 11
Kids Highland Games: 3-12 years. The Meadows Park 10.30am. Free.
Golf at Royal Dornoch Golf Club: £12 non member adults. £6 non member kids. Register in Pro Shop. T off times to be booked before 2.30pm.
Bingo: Marquee Tent at The Meadows. 7pm. BYOB.
Friday 12
Nerf Wars: 3 to 8 years, 3-5pm. 8 to 12 years, 4-5pm. The Meadows Park. £2 per child.
Cinema: Family film at the Dornoch Social Club. 6.30pm.
Saturday 13
The Great Festival Week Duck Race: Bridge Street, 6.30pm. Ducks available from Mitchell’s chemist, £1 a duck.
80’s Disco: The Eagle. Over 18’s. 9pm
