Dornoch Christmas Festival
Saturday 4th December.
Come and enjoy a Day in Dornoch to launch the Christmas season! Do some Christmas shopping, enjoy our festive events, explore the town with its’ wide range of independent shops and cafes, visit the museum and then stay on to see the Christmas lights ‘switch on’!
*The St Andrews fair is back at the Dornoch Social Club. 10am until 4pm, with it’s fantastic raffle and stalls; arts, crafts, food items, clothing, bric a brac, photography, woodworking and lots more! There will be delicious home baking, refreshments and homemade soup to keep everyone warm and cosy.
* Santa has installed his grotto at the Dornoch Hub Christmas fair this year. Warm up with a bowl of soup before enjoying a pop-in Christmas card making session, having your (physically distanced!) photo taken with Santa and getting a glitter tattoo with Cute-lckles by Tracey.
*The Outdoor Christmas Market, on the Cathedral Green from 10am until 2pm, boasts a wide range of food and craft stalls showcasing products made locally. Food stalls include Cullisse Rapeseed Oil, charcuterie from Bogrow Farm, Christmas cakes and goodies from White Cottage Bakes to enjoy with tea from Just Herbal Teas. Many Christmas present ideas will be found on the Craft stalls from jewellery, paintings, textiles, candles, body care products, home accessories and more. Hot teas and coffees will be available on the day to keep you warm!
*The Christmas lights will be switched on at 3.30 and there will be carols in the Cathedral at 4pm.
